Our Services

Professional oncology social workers provide free emotional and practical support for people with cancer, caregivers, loved ones and the bereaved.


Our staff of professional oncology social workers provide individual and group support, practical information and resources to help you better cope with cancer. Due to public health concerns, in-person services at our office locations have been temporarily transitioned to the telephone. If you are interested in face-to-face counseling, please call our Hopeline at 800-813-4673 to speak with an oncology social worker. Existing face-to-face clients should reach out to their social workers for more information.

Case Management

Our staff of professional oncology social workers provide case management services to help you better cope with cancer. CancerCare provides free telephone case management to people living with cancer, post-treatment survivors and caregivers affected by cancer. CancerCare’s Case Management services are provided by professional oncology social workers. This service is available in English and Spanish and centers on the practical challenges that arise from cancer.

Support Groups

Connect with others in support groups for cancer patients, loved ones and people who have lost a loved one, led by oncology social workers.

Connect Education Workshops

Financial and Co-Pay Assistance

We offer limited financial assistance for cancer-related costs and co-pays, and our professional oncology social workers can help you find additional resources.
